Servicing & Maintaining Existing Equipment

The following is a list of basic troubleshooting guide items. As with any type of meter, mix and dispense equipment, disconnect the power to the unit before performing maintenance and service. All of AST's equipment should only be operated and maintained by qualified personnel. Before performing any troubleshooting or maintenance work, verify proper performance with the operating manual. Please note that the manual contains all necessary drawings and a parts list for servicing the machine.

Before you call, please check the following (if applicable to your equipment):

• Remove the disposable static mixer
• Verifiy that the equipment was receiving the proper amount of air pressure and/or electricity dependent upon the model
• Check material levels in tanks and for debris
• Verify the equipment is dispensing at the correct ratio by performing a ratio check
• Identify any possible material blockages at the check valves, dispenser and hoses
• Have the serial number of the machine (which is located in the operating manual and on the name plate) available to offer the customer support representative for quicker service
• Please note that each of AST's machines are specifically set up for the material which was detailed in the Material Application Data Sheet (MADS). Before changing to a different material, please consider these factors.
